Support Those that Support the Orphan

Take a moment to look around you at your community, workplace and place of worship. Families and individuals near you have taken initiative for the orphan by adopting - internationally or domestically, by fostering or offering respite care.

Wow. What a gift they are giving to your community!

In celebration of National Adoption Month, support those who support the orphan and the waiting child. Take a moment to get to know a family more personally and assess their specific needs. If this step is too intimidating, consider an action that any parent would appreciate - such as mowing their lawn, raking their leaves, offering to baby sit, or creating their meals for a week.

Giving to a family who has a heart for orphans (or to a family much like your own) will grow your ability in this same love.
